How to sell KOK PLAY coins on KuCoin

As of now, there are five exchanges that allow you to sell KOK coins for USDT. You can signup for any of the exchanges below:

Start of the original post:

KOK coins can be mined within the KOK PLAY app by staking money in the KOK PLAY platform. After earning these coins, many get confused about how to convert the KOK coins back into USD. This guide will help you sell your KOK PLAY coins.

Step 1: Create a KuCoin Account

In order to convert KOK coins into USD, you must have an account on an exchange that recognizes KOK coins as a tradeable currency. KuCoin is a Korean cryptocurrency exchange that recognizes the KOK coin. It is a safe, reliable exchange and includes many of the security measures which Coinbase currently offers.

Step 2: Find your main KOK wallet address on KuCoin

After signing up for an account, you must find your main KOK wallet address within KuCoin.

Step 3: Transfer your KOK coins from the KOK PLAY app to KuCoin

With your main KOK wallet address copied from KuCoin, open the KOK PLAY app.

1. Navigate to the Wallet section of the KOK PLAY app. The wallet icon is located in the top-right corner fo the app.
2. Tap on KOK to open your KOK wallet.
3. Select “Transfer”.
4. Paste the main KOK wallet address copied from KuCoin into the field that says “Enter address”.
5. Select Next.
6. Tap on KOK, then enter the amount of KOK coins you want to send over to KuCoin. (I always click the 100% in the top right corner to transfer all of the KOK coins I currently have available in my wallet.) NOTE: A minimum amount of $100 worth of KOK coins is required to transfer funds out of the KOK PLAY app.
7. Next, select “fixed rate”. (Read below for more information.)
8. Select Transfer and your KOK coins will be sent from your KOK PLAY app wallet to your main KuCoin KOK wallet.

On the transfer screen, there are two options you can select the determines your transaction speed and transaction fee:

• “According to gas fees” – This will transfer your KOK coins using Etheruem (ETH) to pay for the gas fee. The gas fee varies constantly. When using this method, the gas fee charges will be deducted from the ETH wallet in your KOK PLAY app when the withdrawal is approved. If you do not have enough ETH in your wallet, the withdrawal will stay pending and then eventually get cancelled. If you choose this method, make sure you have the amount of ETH listed under “Estimated gas fee” on the transfer screen in Step 7.
• “fixed rate” – This will transfer your KOK coins and charge 1% of the total amount being withdrawn as the transaction fee. When using this method, the fee is low but the transfer time from wallet-to-wallet can take longer. (When I choose this method, my transfer time takes a few hours.)

Step 4: Transfer your KOK coins from your main KOK wallet to your trading KOK wallet inside KuCoin

Once the KOK coins transfer out of your KOK PLAY wallet, they will show up in your main KOK wallet in KuCoin. Now it’s time to transfer the coins into your trading wallet so you can sell them! KuCoin has many sets of wallets. The main wallet is used to store all of your crypto. The trading wallet is used to store crypto balances that you are trading on the KuCoin platform. Before you can trade, you need to transfer your KOK coin balance into your trading wallet.

Transfer on a computer:

1. Navigate to “Assets Overview”.
2. Select “Transfer” under the Main Account section.
3. Make sure you are transferring from Main Account —> Trading Account and then select KOK as the coin. Transfer all of the available balance.

Transfer on an iPhone:

1. Open the app and navigate to “Assets”.
2. Tap to select “Main”.
3. Search for “KOK” in the search box.
4. Select “Transfer”.
5. Make sure you are transferring from Main Account —> Trading Account. Transfer all of the available balance.

Now you are ready to sell your KOK coins!

Step 5: Sell your KOK coins on KuCoin

Sell KOK coins on a computer:

1. Scroll over “Trade” in the main menu and then select “Spot Trading”.
2. In the top left corner, next to the logo, there will be a drop down with “BTC/USDT” currently selected. Click that and then search for “KOK”. The option “KOK/USDT” will show up. Select that.
3. Now you can see the trading screen for the KOK coin. In the bottom right corner, you will see the Buy/Sell boxes. NOTE: You may need to enter your passcode before this screen will show up.
4. Select “Spot” then “Market”.
5. Underneath “Best Market Price”, click the “100%” to sell 100% of the KOK coin that is in your trading Kucoin wallet.
6. Click “Sell”.

Sell KOK coins on an iPhone:

1. Open the app and navigate to “Markets”.
2. Tap the search icon in the top right and search for “KOK”. Select the “KOK/USDT” option.
3. At the bottom, select “Sell”.
4. Under the Buy and Sell buttons, select the text that says “Limit” and change it to “Market”. You will get a message about devaition of prices. Tap Confirm.
5. Under amount select the “100%” option to offer up all of the KOK coins in your trading wallet.
6. Tap “Sell KOK”.

Once the transaction completes, the KOK coin will be sold and you will now have an equal balance of USDT coins in your trading wallet on KuCoin. USDT is tether and always translates to 1 USDT = 1 USD.

USDT is easy to work with and can easily be transferred to Coinbase and sold for USD. Before transferring to Coinbase, be sure to transfer the USDT from your trading wallet back to your main wallet on KuCoin. (Guide coming soon for this process.)
